Kyle and I are working on the announcements to give to Judy for the Sunday Bulletins and the March newsletter. I was wondering about those who may purchase tickets or make a donation by check. Should the checks be made out to First United Methodist Church? In order to insure the funds get directed to our account, what is the name of our fund, or what should they mark on the memo line?

I talked to Steve Curry on Sunday about setting up an account for the mission trip. He is sure it won't be a problem but will be bringing it up at the next Finance Committee in Feb. I will call Pastor this morning. Maybe it should be made out to the church with the mission trip listed in the memo. I will get back to you as soon as I know something.
ReplyDeleteI checked with Pastor about who the checks should be made out to. He suggested to make them out to the church with "short term mission" in the memo.
